Threshold Spinning is based around completing longer work sets at around 75 – 85% of maximum effort, with either short or no rest periods. Bike threshold training aims to improve the intensity you can hold for a given length of time. Improving power output at this pace will almost always relate to improved performance and higher levels of fitness.
